Quell fire blankets consist of a woven fibreglass fire resistant fabric and can be used for putting out flames that start from cooking or clothing fires. Best place for location of fire blankets is in the kitchen or cooking area. A suitable location is between the stove and the kitchen exit. Fire blankets can only be used once. When a fire blanket is used, please ensure that you discard the used blanket and replace it with a new blanket.
Quell fire blankets complies with AS/NZS 3504 Australian standards, use to fight: stove top fires - fat fires & cooking oils, clothing fires, are for use in the kitchen, caravan & boat.

Handy Hints
• Do not remove or touch a fire blanket that has smothered any type of fire until completely cool
• Ensure that the source of heat is turned off once the blanket has been placed on the flames
• Always place the blanket carefully over cooking fat fires (do not throw)
• In circumstances of a clothing fire, wrap the victim in the blanket and roll them on the ground
• Do not use a fire blanket on Electrical Fires
