Record high temperatures will see more snakes in and around Australian workplaces this summer. As snakes emerge from hibernation during the warmer months, they will move near places where people live and work in search of food.

Accidental wounds at the workplace are very common, and not exempt from turning chronic. They can happen at the office, on the road, on a building site or in the field. 

Ordinary eyewear such as prescription lenses and sunglasses cannot adequately protect against injury. In fact, they may make an eye injury worse.
